The National Hunting Reserve of Sierra Espuña: 14.183 ha. in Province Murcia.

Barbary sheep in eastern and southeastern regions of Spain.

The Arrui, Aoudad / Barbary sheep was introduced in Sierra Espuña Natural park in 1970. The founder population consisted of 11 males and 24 females brought from several European and African zoos.
